BORN IN EAST LONDON.

Left Hook Boxing Club was founded in 1992 by Enzo Giordano, a former professional boxer from North London. Enzo's vision was simple: create a gym where the doors were open to everyone, regardless of background or ability. That vision has never changed. Today, under the leadership of Enzo and Oner Avara, Left Hook continues to be the heartbeat of boxing in Shadwell.

We believe boxing is for everyone. Whether you're stepping into a gym for the first time or preparing for your next fight, Left Hook is where you belong. We build fitness, discipline, confidence — and community.

Today, Left Hook is run by Oner Avara, who has carried forward everything Enzo built, the standards, the community, the belief that this gym exists to serve its members.

We have been voted in Time Out London Top 50 Gyms. We are England Boxing affiliated. We are home to national, international and world champions. But more than any trophy, we are proud of every beginner who walked through the door not knowing what to expect and never left.
